If you have a story to tell about adverse reactions to a drug or vaccines and you wish to tell us please click here and will print on our new 'Our Story' page
Dear Readers
If any of you have been falsely accused of SBS or MSBP/FII/ or murder after a vaccine injury then this survery applies to you
Please take a look at the site below and note the Shaken Baby Syndrome Survey that is being taken. Would you please network it within your group/community so that parents who are accused of SBS can see that something is being done to help clear the air about the misguided SBS.

Shaken Baby Syndrome or Vaccine-Induced Encephalitis?
Harold E. Buttram, MD
Shaken baby syndrome (SBS) commonly describes a combination of subdural hematoma, retinal hemorrhage, and diffuse axonal injury (DAI) as the triad of diagnostic criteria. In some, the presence of rib or other fractures is also taken as a sign of abuse.(1-3)The basic issue to be reviewed here is whether or not in some instances in which a father, family member, or caretaker has been accused of causing the death of an infant or child from the SBS, the true cause of death was a catastrophic vaccine reaction.
This article concerns an unpublished series of 25 cases involving accusations or convictions for the SBS, largely collected by attorney and jury counselor Toni Blake of San Diego, California (personal communication, 2000), as well as some from personal knowledge, which have the following features: 1) All occurred in fragile infants born from complicated pregnancies. Problems included prematurity, low birth weights, drug/alcohol problems, diabetic mothers, or other maternal complications. 2) All infants were 6 months or less of age. 3) Onset of signs and symptoms occurred at about 2, 4, or 6 months of age, within 12 days of vaccines. 4) All infants had subdural hematomas. 5) Some had multiple fractures.
Few published studies on vaccine effects include before-and-after studies of immune parameters or brain function studies such as electroencephalograms, or long-term safety monitoring. Inadequate consideration has been given to the additive or synergistic adverse effects of multiple simultaneous vaccines, although in the case of toxic chemicals, two compounds together may be 10 times more toxic than either separately, or 3 compounds 100 times more toxic.(4,5)

Excerpt:
The terms iatrogenesis and iatrogenic artifact refer to inadvertent adverse effects or complications caused by or resulting from medical treatment or advice. In addition to harmful consequences of actions by physicians, iatrogenesis can also refer to actions by other healthcare professionals, such as psychologists, therapists, pharmacists, nurses, dentists, and others. Iatrogenesis is not restricted to conventional medicine: It can also result from complementary and alternative medicine treatments.
Some iatrogenic artifacts are clearly defined and easily recognized, such as a complication following a surgical procedure. Some less obvious ones can require significant investigation to identify, such as complex drug interactions. Furthermore, some conditions have been described for which it is unknown, unproven, or even controversial whether they are iatrogenic or not; this has been encountered in particular with regard to various psychological and chronic-pain conditions. Research in these areas continues.
Causes of iatrogenesis include chance, medical error, negligence, social control,[clarification needed]and the adverse effects or interactions of medications. In the United States, an estimated 44,000 to 98,000 deaths per year may be attributed in some part to iatrogenesis.[1]. Other figures put the toll in 581.926 deaths annually. (See: G. Null, M.Feldman,D.Rasio and D. Smith)

Viera Scheibner (1935 – present) (real name Viera Scheibnerová) is a retired micropaleontologist (a branch of geology). From 1958 until 1968 she was assistant professor in the department of geology at Comenius University, Bratislava. Scheibner has been active in the anti-vaccination field researching, writing and giving lectures on the subject matter of vaccines and vaccinations since her retirement from the Department of Mineral Resources, New South Wales, Australia in 1987.
A great number of Doctors, Scientists, Legal professionals and other critics have questioned her qualifications, research abilities, and honesty.[1][2][3][4][5][6]

When a baby is born in Australia or any other so called developed country, orthodox medicine immediately takes over its life and well being: the very birth is medicalised with inductions (whether there is any medical need for it or not), painkillers and immediate injections of vitamin K and hepatits B vaccine. Mothers do not even ask what is in that drip (it is an overload of a hormone: oxytocin) and in that vitamin K injection; they do not realise that it is the wrong vitamin K, that there are toxic preservatives in the injection and that the babies have developed the so-called haemorrhagic disease of the newborn despite being given vitamin K. They don’t realise that the painkiller pethidine is morphine and that the newborn baby may get the full blast of it while being born; not the most auspicious start in life. Some even linked the addictions of very young children to that initial bolus of morphine. The mothers don’t realise that an overload of the hormone oxytocin may (and does) cause brain and retinal haemorrhages and that before the baby would recover, it is given hepatitis b vaccine injection which on its own causes brain and retinal haemorrhages. The vicious circle may continue if the baby is deemed to have an infection and is administered powerful antibiotics intravenously; many babies develop serious reactions to all this and die within about 3-4 weeks of being born. If they survive the initial assault of these toxic substances, then they may develop reactions to the second round at two months: injections of several other vaccines such as DPT (diphtheria, pertussis and tetanus), polio, Haemophilus influenzae type B, the second hepatitis B, and meningococcal and Pneumococcal vaccines, in each thigh. The babies are vaccinated even after they developed symptoms of suppressed immune system such as the runny nose and ear infections after the first toxic assault at birth. Many babies develop whooping cough from the vaccine. I suspect that many babies who developed convulsions after these vaccinations, may have actually contracted tetanus, from the triple (DPRT) vaccine. http://www.thinktwice.com/lawyers.htm |

M.A.M.A. was begun in response to the fast growing number of false allegations of Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy (MSBP). Parents are being accused of making their own children ill. Increasingly, families across America, Britain, Australia, Canada and New Zealand are being destroyed by doctors and other professionals who make false and even malicious allegations against desperate mothers of chronically/critically ill children.
The inventor of this label/diagnosis, Sir Roy Meadow, has now been completely discredited in the UK courts and there is a tremendous public outcry for review of all cases in which he has ever been involved. (For more information see Published Articles) We believe there should be a review of all cases world-wide in which MSP label has been used.
The motives of the accusers can be multi-faceted. Often, allegations are used by a doctor or institution to evade a medical malpractice lawsuit, or to simply rid themselves of a troublesome mom when frustrated and unable to diagnose a child's condition. Increasingly, this label is being deliberately misused by opposing parents in child custody suits. Many nurses and even doctors have been accused. SIDS deaths are the new frontier of prosecution.

He appeared as an expert witness for the prosecution in several trials, in at least one of which his testimony played a crucial part in a wrongful conviction for murder. The British General Medical Council (GMC) struck off Meadow from the British Medical Register after he was found to have offered “erroneous” and “misleading” evidence in the Sally Clark case.[3] Clark was a lawyer wrongly convicted in 1999 of the murder of her two baby sons, largely on the basis of Meadow's evidence; her conviction was quashed in 2003 after she had spent three years in jail.[4] Sally Clark never recovered from the experience, developed number of serious psychiatric problems including serious alcohol dependency and died in 2007 from alcohol poisoning.[1]
Clark's father, Frank Lockyer, who is a retired senior police officer, complained to the GMC, alleging serious professional misconduct on the part of Meadow. The GMC concluded in July 2005 that Meadow was guilty of serious professional misconduct and ordered that his name be struck from the register. Meadow appealed to the High Court, which ruled in his favour in February 2006. The GMC appealed to the Court of Appeal and in October 2006 by a majority decision, with the Master of the Rolls, Sir Anthony Clarke, dissenting, the Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the High Court in part ruling that Meadow's misconduct was not sufficiently serious to merit the punishment which he had received.[5]

The acquittal of Trupti Patel on charges of killing three of her babies has cast further doubt on the expert evidence of Leeds paediatrician Sir Roy Meadow. Eric Roberts reports.
PROFESSOR Sir Roy Meadow should be tending the garden of his home in Weeton, north of Leeds , as he enjoys his retirement after a distinguished career as a paediatrician. Instead, he finds himself once more at the centre of controversy, after the expert evidence he gave against Mrs Trupti Patel, on trial for murdering her three babies, was rejected by the jury. Yesterday, as no-one took calls at his home, it appeared as if at least six other cases of mothers convicted of murder in which Sir Roy was involved may be reviewed. Particular scorn has been poured on his assertion during the trial in 1999 of solicitor Sally Clark, wrongfully convicted of killing two of her babies, that the odds of losing two of her babies to Sudden Death Infant Syndrome were one in 73 million.
Mrs Clark's conviction was overturned by the
Appeal Court in January, and yesterday her husband Stephen said he was astonished that Sir Roy should have been chosen as the chief expert witness for the prosecution again in the Patel case.
Appeal Court
Sir Roy's view that one sudden infant death is a tragedy, two is suspicious and three is murder has become known as Meadow's Law, and his evidence before the Clark case had always been accepted virtually without question by police, prosecutors and courts. But he himself has admitted that the one in 73 million figure he quoted was wrong; the figure is nearer one in a hundred, and where genetic factors are involved, the odds could be as low as one in four.
Now the General Medical Council is looking into whether we need to take action against him.
Professor Sir Samuel Roy Meadow (born 1933) is a British paediatrician who rose to initial fame for his 1977 academic paper on the now controversial Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy (MSbP) and his crusade against parents who wilfully harm or kill their children. He was knighted for these works. He endorsed the dictum that “one sudden infant death is a tragedy, two is suspicious and three is murder, until proved otherwise“ in his book ABC of Child Abuse[1] and this became known as Meadow's Law and at one time was widely adopted by social workers and child protection agencies (such as the NSPCC) in Britain.[2]He appeared as an expert witness for the prosecution in several trials, in at least one of which his testimony played a crucial part in a wrongful conviction for murder.
